Sarah is a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for helping students succeed. She grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania, and now lives in nearby Bucks County, PA. Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Special Education. Additionally, she is a certified ESL Program Specialist and Reading Specialist, equipping her with the skills to support a diverse range of learners.
With over 23 years of experience in education, Sarah specializes in helping high school students develop essential executive functioning skills, including organization, time management, task initiation, and study strategies. Her background as a Learning Support Teacher and an Inclusion Specialist, has given her extensive experience working with a variety of learners, including students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and other challenges that impact academic success. She successfully helps students improve their study habits, build confidence, and develop strategies for managing their workload effectively. Sarah works with students of all ages, tailoring her approach to meet their unique learning styles and needs.
Outside the classroom, Sarah enjoys watching her two children compete in softball and baseball, attending local sporting events, hiking trails with her golden retriever and husband, and spending time reading, and relaxing at the beach. Sarah is excited to join the OPPTEmizer™ Coaching team and help students develop the tools necessary for success in school and beyond.

Structure helps build independence. Overtime routines become internalized- planning becomes automatic, time estimation improves, self-monitoring is strengthened. And then the student doesn’t need constant adult prompting. This is the freedom that structure creates.
When they start to plan ahead because they looked ahead - they become strategic instead of reactive.
